 Hearth Place empower s a community of  compassionate support, knowledge, and hope for anyone impacted by cancer. Here you will find support whether dealing with the news of a cancer diagnosis, supporting a loved one through cancer treatment, or grieving the loss of a loved one to cancer.

 Joanne’s House is the only emergency shelter within the Durham Region focusing specifically on homeless youth  and providing a temporary, safe living environment to youth between the ages of 16 and 24. They strive to end youth homelessness in Durham Region.

Grandview Children's Centre is an excellent organization provides family-centred paediatric and rehabilitation services for children and youth with physical, communication and developmental needs so that these children and youths can live their lives to their full potential.G

Luke's Place is a legal aid-based centre in Durham, improving the safety and experience of abusedwomen and their children as they proceed through the family law process after leaving an abusive relationshipwith their intimate partner. 

Dreams & Wishes is a children's charity which aims to preserve and create positive childhood memoriesby fulfilling 'dreams & wishes' made by children and families deemed underprivileged, exposed to domesticviolence, physical/sexual/emotional abuse, homelessness, poverty, abandonment and neglect.

Nanny Angel Network provides free, professional relief childcare for Durham Region area mothers withcancer. With their volunteers, they provide compassionate support to families throughout treatment, recovery,palliative care and bereavement.
